However, it is your responsibility to read the policy documents, literature, and brochures to ensure that you understand the nature of the policy cover; particularly in relation to Income Protection and Serious Illness Cover policies.
You have the right to withdraw from your life, pension, or investment contract within 30 days from your policy inception date. To withdraw within this time written instruction from one or other policyholder must be sent to One Quote via letter or email. Any monies paid to the product provider/insurer will then be refunded accordingly and no cancellation fee will apply.
Should a client wish to cancel any existing pension, or investment policy, at any time post the initial 30-day cooling-off period, investment values may change, as outlined in the policy conditions provided, relating to that specific investment policy contract.
One Quote Financial Brokers Limited, may receive remuneration by way of commission from the financial services product providers, with whom we place business on your behalf. These commission payments most typically cover payment in full our services, for selecting and arranging protection, pension and investment solutions, as well as for monitoring your financial products, completing suitability assessments and meeting you to review your portfolio on a regular basis.
Direct Fees:
In certain circumstances, it may be necessary to charge a fee for services provided.
Additional fees may be payable for complex cases or to reflect specialist skills or urgency. For such cases ranges a fee €250 per hour may apply . We will notify you in advance regarding the fees to be charged, were applicable.

It is in your best interests that you review, on a regular basis, the products which we have arranged for you. As your circumstances change, your needs will change. You must advise us of those changes and request a review of the relevant policy so that we can ensure that you are provided with up-to-date advice and products best suited to your needs.
Failure to contact us in relation to changes in your circumstances or failure to request a review may result in you having insufficient insurance cover and/or inappropriate investments.
We do offer annual reviews of all investment and pension related products as standard, unless arranged on an execution only fee basis.
As your circumstances change, your needs will change. To ensure that your investments and insurance cover remain suitable to your needs, you should advise us of any changes to your circumstances and request a review of the relevant policies.
For insurance policies in particular, failure to contact us in relation to changes in your circumstances may result in you having insufficient insurance cover.
We will use your personal information only for the purpose for which you provide it. All such information will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Acts. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that persons employed by us are aware of and comply with such legislation. We would like to be able to contact you by way of telephone, letter or email, in relation to any products which we might consider to be of interest to you. If you do not wish us to provide you with details of possible additional products, please let us know.
The data will be processed only in ways compatible with the purposes for which it was given and as outlined in our Privacy Notice made available on your website. You have the right at any time to request a copy of any personal data within the meaning of the GDPR that our office holds about you and to have any inaccuracies in that information corrected. It is the policy of One Quote Financial Brokers Ltd t/a One Quote to avoid a conflict of interest when providing services to clients. Where an unavoidable conflict arises we will advise you of this in writing before providing any business services. If you have not been made aware of any such conflict you may assume that none arises.
If you would like to talk to us about how we could improve our service, or if you are unhappy with the service you are receiving, please let us know by telephoning or writing to us. Any complaints will be responded to in writing. We will carefully consider any complaint as soon as we receive it and do all we can to explain the position to you. If we do not answer your complaint to your satisfaction, you may, of course, take up the matter with the Financial Services Ombudsman or the Pensions Ombudsman. We will respond to any complaint within 5 working days in writing.
Although we never hold receive or hold monies in, meaning all investment funds are transferred directly to the chosen product provider, we are members of the Investor Compensation Scheme.

The Investor Compensation Act, 1998 provides for the establishment of a compensation scheme and the payment, in certain circumstances, of compensation to certain clients (known as eligible investors) of authorised investment firms, as defined in that Act. The Investor Compensation Company Ltd. (ICCL) was established under the 1998 Act to operate such a compensation scheme and our firm is a member of this scheme.
Compensation may be payable where money or investment instruments owed or belonging to clients and held, administered or managed by the firm cannot be returned to those clients for the time being and where there is no reasonably foreseeable opportunity of the firm being able to do so.
